Kublai Khan, grandson of Genghis Khan, established paper currency in China during his rule. However, the currency he created caused inflation, one of the factors that led to the demise of the Yuan dynasty, which he founded. Kublai Khan also organized roads, expanded waterways, and provided religious freedom during his rule. Sammy Davis Jr. lost his eye in a car accident.

:thumbs: to Penelope In 1954, Sammy Davis Jr. survived a brutal car accident during a drive from Las Vegas to Los Angeles, but lost his left eye. An eye patch that he used during live performances became a trademark for him. Sammy began performing at age 3 and continued being active in the entertainment world until his death in 1990. Pampers was the first disposable diaper.

The Procter and Gamble company introduced the product in 1961. The first diapers didn't include fastening tabs, so parents had to have tape handy when using them. At the time of their release, the diapers were sold in two sizes and were much thicker than the ones that are used today. Sesame Street's Ernie made it to the top 20 with his song "Rubber Duckie". |
