Sour cream will be in the dairy section, right next to the normal cream
I sometimes use creme fraiche instead of milk/cream for the potatoes......

i am clueless !!!
BUT i did make cottage pie the other day - rick thought it was delicious
i put cottage cheese with chives in the mash and grated cheese over the top
and carrots, peas and sweetcorn in the mince !
