Rooibos Tea
#1
We all know the benefits of Rooibos tea. However, I'm interested to find out if it is high in Tannin.

A nutritionist recommended teas that are low (or void) of tannin, i.e. fruit and herbal teas. Does Rooibos fall into this category?

Rooibos is very low in tannin, and that is why I switched when I was pregnant for the first time 11 years ago. Smile

It probably is, Jangar - it's marketed here as RedBush tea. In all your friendly stockists, ie Tesco's and Sainsbury's Smile

Jangar, I may be wrong, but as far as I know "rooibos" grows in SA.......... ( I do not know whether it is "grown" commercially elsewhere)
Have a look on the packet of the Rooi bush tea in Denmark, if it is from SA, it must be ordinary rooibos tea!Wink
