IE/Outlook/MSN not working

Any XP fundis???
IE/Outlook?msn not working and help index has disappeared.

Did a major debug of a virus cleanup and now IE does not work
I have checked the settings with my ISP/OK
Did a sfc/scannow
did a XP repair
did a XP upgrade installation
did a Windows ie.inf Right click install...still does not work.

The only area I still see a problem is in the windows remove/install windows components window. the IE/Outlook/ MSN show OO Bit file size. I am about ready to reinstall Windows from scratch but that is going to be a major headache.
