I am back and so are the Sharks.....

It was a combination of things that helped to engineer that result.

First and foremost the Sharks finally got their selection right....this was the strongest combination we've fielded this season. AJ, Butch, Brent etc all played. Only guys missing now are Davidson (although he won't make the side with the way Pienaar played), Dean Hall and BJ Botha. We also finally picked Solly on the flank and dropped Ndungane.

The boys then showed some passion and fighting spirit for the Sharks jersey.....the defence was immense.

Stormers and Bulls have been abysmal which is VERY worrying especially as they contribute the majority of the Boks!!!

i do agree but if the majority of the bokke team came out of the sharks it would be more of a problem because then they will need to change coach everytime before they can win something :p only joking.

i think the stormers should be able to pull themselves together as they playing all their games home now except for bulls game.
hopefully (holding thumbs) we will mke the semis atleast.

if the sharks keep theri performance up they might get somewhere but because they will be playing away most of the time now it will be very difficult.

I'm not suggesting that the Sharks should provide most of the Boks......I don't want to get too carried away. After all...it is only ONE win. The Sharks need to prove on the away leg that this result wasn't a one-off.

The worrying thing is that both the Stormers and the Bulls have been comprehensively thumped on tour and their teams comprise a number of Boks...this is a matter of grave concern. The form of Bok test players such as Marius Joubert, Joe Van Niekerk etc has been very poor.

does this mean the Sharks are going to win the Super 12 ... if they a bit like the Welsh

I doubt he'll accept the offer as Donald Trump has offered him $80 million a year as "cabaret" artist at his (Don's) hotel in Vegas, provided he isn't convicted... :crylol:

As for the Sharks, will it be "In the year 2525" ??? They haven't been very great since they were the Banana Boys have they ? :bigcry:

Gregg

16-16

22-19

25-10

12-9

These scores hardly constitute a drubbing... and a few would have read differently if we had a proper kicker selected in the first instance. Smal has not got his team selections correct i.e. Paulse and Watson being left out against the Waratahs. However, the performances have been dissapointing to say the least.
