Excellent quality goats' cheese can be bought for around 1 Euro ( 68 pence ) for a 180-200 grams roll , in any half-decent supermarket ( Auchan , Carrefour , Aldi , Lidl , Casino , Intermarche...);
in rip-off U.K. : Waitrose and M&S prefer much fatter profit margins , for pretty much the same product , imported from France ( same producers , most likely );
better not to have it with any bread , but with rye/sesame dietary biscuits rather ;
goes well with any heavier red wine , from Cabernet Sauvignon upwards , bur particularly Bordeaux , Medoc , 1-es Cotes de Blaye , St. Emilion , Margaux...
