Soon we'll have you on a lovely cocktail and a silly grin too
The best thing to do with beans is the following:
Tilt your plate to the side, pile them neatly.. make sure you scrape every little one there.. and then start stacking them with a teaspoon. When the height starts forming, then tilt the plate even more - hold it closer to you at the table. I know, it'll look odd.. but trust me, this works.
Scrape the rest towards the edge of the plate and take a deep breath.
In one hand, hold a piece of toast (soldiers) and the other have the tilted plate. Get your breakfast buddy/ imaginary friend/ dog/ TV.. to make a loud noise. This is crucial as it will explain the mess:
Casually drop the plate on the floor with all the beans so neatly piled - the racket should be supplemented by a huge shriek and crocodile tears - and then casually eat the leftover soldiers.
The beans will somehow make it into the bin, the plate can be blamed on your obscure Greek heritage :great: and you don't have to suffer the indignity of having to eat beans again :leaf:
Oh.. and change the cookery channel. 2006.. is soooo.. well 2006
Jen,
Great to see you still around!
