Afternoon
Went for the second blood test this morning....3 samples taken, tested and sent through to Hopelands ready for my second chemo session on Friday. Strawbs, thank you and tell your dad my 'pink' hard hat has pride of place but I doubt I will be wearing it for a little while yet. But I will be going to site tomorrow in Ntshongweni with some donations I managed to get from the comrades marathon table, energade sachets and pockets of oranges. I know the kids will really benefit from this.
Sorry to hear about Twinny having cancer. It is as if everyone knows someone who is either fighting the disease or in remission from it. I cannot but help ask why? And why so many young people?
Rita, thank you for sending the book. I will let you know when it arrives. Well the hair started to fall out yesterday. I had hoped having past the 14 day mark I would be one of the 'lucky' 2% that are no affected but once my scalp started to get sore I knew ..........

Just listening to East Coast Radio and a BA jet has skidded of the runway this morning at Durban International Airport. 87 passengers aboard are currently receiving trauma counselling. The lower South Coast has been hit really hard with the severe rains we had last night ......lot's going on.
