Have been thinking of you a lot these days. Isn't your next chemo due today or soon?
Yes, my sense of smell went haywire - even nice things. My loo especially, like you, drove me nuts. Any spray or scented thing. Then my beautiful orchid, a particular one, suddenly its scent was overpowering so I gave it to Rita who said she could hardly smell anything. Still to this day I can't have it around, so am glad she's given it a good home.
Then other perfumes became specially nice. I think all the senses are heightened. As for taste! On came the sweet things (ice cream) and off went red meat, tea, choc (though it is sweet), and I find I still get acid-sores from some fruits that I used to love. I'm back on weak milky tea and very little red meat and choc. Lots of ice cream though

Something I HATED was the phone ringing, and it still irritates me intensely. Can't change the ring tone either. Sometimes I'm tempted to swear at it - not the person phoning, but the phone itself. Now is that chemo or is it emerging eccentricity?
