Thank you...........
Mum's funeral is on Wednesday at 2pm Dad is doing ok...so many people visiting his home at the moment and then the carers coming in and all the arrangements to make. I think it will be afterwards when it really hits home. They were married for 63 years and it must be like losing half of yourself when you lose a partner in these circumstances.
All is busy this side of the world. We are currently having horrifically high winds and it is so very, very dry. Many fires have taken hold in KZN and people have lost their lives particularly in areas around Zululand.
It's a little more difficult at the moment working and running the home. I have to try and remember to do everything and Jen you will know the memory at the moment is not at it's best.
I go for my blood test again next week then the chemo on the Friday. I am not looking forward to giving the blood this time because my veins are now a problem in that they cannot get the blood to come out so it is a case of poking around and trying to find a willing vein. With having my lymph nodes removed I cannot have injections now in my left arm. My neighbour is going to take me for my treatment and will drive me home. Then I go into my cave for 4 days :tonguepop: and talk to no one, but I will have my GOLD MEDAL to remind me of the journey so far......
Take care
