I notice in earlier Threads there were references to players who played for CT City. I knew Bobby Fuller and Bobby Finch very well. But one of the highlights of my career was playing against Hellenic in a pre-season friendly and the team included Roger Hunt. Mmmmm! I am just bathing in the nostalgia!!
When Cape Town City were formed, I think I mentioned earlier, they took a number of players from Marist, Vinnie 'Voetjies' Taylor, Kenny O'Lyn and I think his brother and Melvin Bayer come to mind.
They had a goal keeper Donald Montgommery who played for Marist and would be your era, he is my fathers brother-in-law and I will try pick his brains for some players you would know.
