Hello again
Sorry for not being around for a little while…..
All is well with me it is just that this is the busiest time of the year for incoming volunteer groups and this year has been no different. Our Volunteer Co-ordinator has been away and so I have taken on his role as well…..excuses….excuses…..excuses :blom:

Well I now have two boobs once more and my new boob has been ‘felt’ by every lady in the office. What is it about silicone that makes people want to squeeze it?????????:mmm:
The hair is slowly appearing as are my eyebrows….I was getting very fed up of trying to draw them on.:crylol:
I go for my next round of tests on January 26th (Mammogram, Chest XRay, UltraSound Scan and Bone Density Scan). The results will then be compared to my April tests to see if there has been any spread of the cancer to other parts of the body. I have a very High Cancer Marker I am told which is not helpful in detecting how effective the chemo has been but again they will test my blood in January to see if the marker has changed.
I am slowly getting my energy back and have enjoyed many Saturdays once more in my garden.
My father-in-law has been with us for the past three weeks and he has another three weeks to go before he returns to the UK. He has benefitted tremendously from the break and I can see he is getting stronger daily and really eating well now.
Gemma arrives in just over a week and I am really looking forward to her visit. We will be spending a few days in the Hluhluwe game reserve. I am really looking forward to that as I love game reserves and the peace and tranquillity they provide.
Then once Gemma has left, I will be looking forward to my own trip to the UK and seeing my family again.
