Happy New Year to one and all!!
Thank you Jemlet...sorry but this is the chemo brain speaking, who's dad did I meet and when? My memory is shot these days.
I am having a wonderful time here is the UK with all of my family. Have had nothing but laughs and fun and love spending time in all the british pubs chatting to folk. Been for some wonderful walks and am loving the cold weather. I have not felt cold at all because everyones homes are well heated and insulated and my sister-in-law has loaned me a bright red ski jacket for all my travels on the buses and taxis.
To be honest I cannot see what all the fuss is about with the 'credit crunch' I have never seen so much shopping going on.....but then of course it could be on the good old credit card!
I leave the UK on the 8th of January so still have a few more days to see around. Lots of changes and of course everyone is that bit older Lol! :tonguepop:
I was glad to see the back of 2008 but just before it ended....another small suprise....I was filming a fireworks display at my brothers house and decided to go upstairs to get some better shots. I was hanging out of the bedroom window when a rocket miss-fired and shot up only to hit the bedroom window a few inches from me. A few inches to the right and it would have come through the window and taken off my head!!!!! So maybe that was the final 'shot' from 2008 :mmm:
So 2009 has begun and I hope for each of you a year of prosperity, abundance and peace. Back in work on the 12th and off to Cape Town on the 14th to plan for the coming year......
January 26th is my D Day for all the tests so I will be happy once that is behind me.
