Hi again.....if somewhat delayed.

Had a look at her blog and she is an amazing lady and very, very knowledgeable.

I think each person faced with these kind of decisions need to find their own answers in their own way. It's a long process to work out what is best for you on the information available and I wish her all the very best and a positive outcome!!!

Going through April and May brought back so many memories for me and each hurdle that had to be overcome. One year on and life goes on but it is different some how.....

My brother finally convinced me to register on Facebook and I eventually relented and registered and it is so great being able to have that daily contact with all the members of my family....makes those pangs I get from time to time over missing the UK, easier to deal with. I just wish SA would hurry up with broadband!!!

Hi Sue .... sorry I took so long to get back here .. but thanks for ur reply. My niece is plodding along and making good progress so far. It seems the doc has decided she doesn't need chemo due to some tests that came back negative. I will pm u the link to her blog and u can read if u have time. At the moment she is having expanders slowly filled to stretch skin (part of her reconstruction) .. the aim is to have implants. She has really stayed so strong through this and I really admire her as I do you. I know it cannot be an easy thing to get through .. but you have shown it can be done and so has she .. two very brave ladies!
