Obese children

Did you hear about the three-year old who died from heart failure due to being overweight?
I listened to a program on the radio where a girl was talking about her struggle with weight, and my heart ached for her - she was dieting at the age of 7 already!

i saw that...awful hey?

what did the child's comprise of??

although some of it is related to genes in the family, surely controlling your kid's diet is common sense....

i have just been on the phone with my sister in SA, she is worried about her 7 yr old, so i told her to give the child low fat snacks, not to give in everytime the child wants a junk snack....if she is cooking low fat food she should include that in the child's diet, also now she is back at school, with dancing and extra mural activities the fat should drop off...not exactly put her on a diet but watching her food intake -
