They do know who their first choices would be, but they need to find out some replacements. A good performer in the CC may not be able to make the step up to international rugby, so it needs to be checked.
I can only imagine he is keeping LW and KF as secret weapons though, as nothing else explains their absence.
In the last Tri-nations, SA started off badly, granted, but they improved as the competition went on.
In the previous tri-nations, they only just lost out to NZ after beating them twice on home soil.
The one before that they won.
I do not see how they are the laughing stock. In the next world cup, I see a race between the Aussies, France, Ireland and SA for a team to face the Kiwis in the final. And then we have to rely on the Kiwis to have a bad day.
