I want to make meatballs in a red wine sauce. The recipe said to use good red wine.... what red wine do you suggest?

A full-bodied, well aged, good red wine: Cab Sav/ Shiraz/ Merlot For the drinking Floyd style.. Wink

A decent bottle of wine for cooking.. :confused: a younger version of the above :thumbs:

I once heard a French chef remark, 'if you wouldn't drink it, then don't cook with it'.
