Today is yet another milestone is our daughter's life. Today is the day she starts secondary school. Luckily she is looking forward to it and we've managed to get her into a really good school, so hopefully it's the start of great new things.

Good Luck Ash at St Peter's.

  Crocs
Posted by: Pronkertjie - 04-09-2006, 08:23 PM - Forum: Banter and ALL - No Replies

When I was in SA I was told everyone has Crocs fever.... and was told that I was behind the time because I didn't know what Crocs are.

A friend came to visit here in England..... he is quite a yuppie and only wears the best.... and on his feet I saw these ugly shoes. Guess what, they were Crocs.

I consulted :mrg: to see where I can get a pair in England because I decided that it is just the shoes for me as I was going into a very busy time (it happened the last two and a half weeks) and ordered the brightest pair of blue Crocs.

They are fantastic shoes and I wonder how I will ever be able to wear anything else....

The funny bit is that when I walk in town young and old stop me in the street and ask me if they are really as good as they heard it was. This afternoon a six year old grab her Moms arm and with great excitment pointed at my shoes. They really are ugly - and it is fun walking in the street watching people's reaction when they don't know what they are.

Have a look at the best investment I've ever made.....

I was on my feet a lot this last two weeks, and usually my back is the first to ache.... no back pain, no achy feet or legs. Will have to get a more neutral colour for a second pair.... Smile Oh, I forget to say that they are very, very light - 6 oz. Doesn't sweat, doesn't smell...... honestly.
