Would much appreciate any info/help with this.
Broadband in SA has a ceiling of 3megabytes per month, now is there anywhere, where I can check on a hourly/daily basis how many bytes have been used? How can I tell how many bytes a site is using and do I use bytes by just visiting/looking or only when I download?

Sophia Stewart and The Matrix |

How many of you know of Sophia Stewart's ongoing battle with the makers of The Matrix and Terminator? The suit is filed against the Wachowski Brothers, Joel Silver and Warner Brothers
She filed a suit against the makers of the movie stating they had used her copyrighted work, The Third Eye, to make a number of movies.
It looks as though she may be a winner and if she receives a payout will become one of the wealthiest persons alive.
Stewart filed her case in 1999, after viewing the Matrix, which she felt had been based on her manuscript, "The Third Eye," copyrighted in 1981. In the mid-eighties Stewart had submitted her manuscript to an ad placed by the Wachowski Brothers, requesting new sci-fi works.
Anyone known of this?

Do You Have Any Pets? |

We're busy babysitting 3 gerbils called Pip, Squeak & Bubble. They belong to the school where my dad teaches & it looks like they may be making us their permanent home. They're adorable, alert, active & responsive little creatures. When I walk into the room where I'm keeping them, they all run up to see who's there. If I put my hand in their tank, they all rush over to snuffle my hand. When I cleaned their home on Sunday, I never imagined that I'd have 3 little animals helping me by digging the bedding I was trying to scoop out! :haha: They're pretty easy to take care of & I thoroughly recommend them if anyone is thinking of buying a small pet. They make far better pets than hamsters as they are not nocturnal.
Do you have pets? Please tell us all about them! :woof:

Friends, who recently moved from Germany to South Africa sent me this email today. I just love the way she talks about her sons....
"Overall, we are doing so well as a family and with living down here. The
boys are relaxed and happy, and enjoying some outside activities that they
haven't been able to take part in before. All boys are having swimming
lessons, and love those - they are all water-babies! Haz and Sammy go to
gymnastics on a Tuesday at the local primary school ,and oh - they are so
sweet to watch! Haz is a total natural at it, and Sammy is the youngest
in the class, and pours all his energy into doing the activities. I just
LOVE watching them - it is so much fun! And then there is the craft group
for Mike and Haz on Friday mornings - they come home with some fab stuff.
Some warm family highlights to share with you. Sammy was desperate to get
a skateboard for Christmas, so we got him one. It made the cutest
picture. For the first few days, he carried it everywhere, and it was
almost as big as him! He practised his "moves" on it, and talked about
doing "ramps" when he was older. I heard him saying to himself, "easy
tiger...easy...." He is a beautiful guy, so full of warmth, fun and life!
Harry sings and cartwheels his way through each day. He is absolutely
delicious - loves to dance, sing (all sorts, including some type of opera
- well, it sounds like it!) draw, climb, worship and act.
Mikey continues to be the compassionate, deep feeler, who is also going
through some rougher times of getting frustrated with himself and the rest
of us. He has "big hair" at the moment - I don't think he will have a
problem with going bald later in life! A fabulous young man!
For all our boys, it is our passion that we would totally discover and
embrace how God has made each of them, and be able to guide them on the
way that will see them flourish and prosper in all that God has for each
of them..."

I was wondering if any of you have heard of Tellington Touch?
Linda Tellington-Jones developed this technique of therapeutic touch for race horses originally, and it has now been adapted for use with most other animals types. Seems very effective in dealing with behavioural and health issues in animals.
