  Klein goedjies

Does anyone know how well white mulberry trees will grow in this climate?

A neighbour a few doors up (back in SA) had a tree in their garden and I have very fond memories of picking and eating the fruit as a kid. Also, I remember the reward I got from Mom when I took a berries home for her - they are/were her favourite fruit.

I know there are some very old trees growing in Kew Gardens in London - but then again just about everything thrives there even though they would not grow a stone's throw from Kew.

Can anyone comment?

This is a long shot but worth a try.

Does anybody know of any decent Automotive recruitment agencies in the London area?

I am not looking for technical work, but rather accounts/finance work for an automotive company.

Thanks.

  Bad news for SA homeowners

Morning Everyone

This is not good news for us. Where do they think the average homeowner, who is already struggling with rapidly increasing price rises, is going to find additional money to pay for this?

Posted by: angelbabe - 30-03-2004, 09:12 AM - Forum: Your Computers, Gadgets and Software - Replies (8)

This is my dilema ...... I am getting a new pc today and I have so many mp3's on this hard drive. I have to delete everything on this pc, but dont want to lose all da music. I dont have cd writer, and no time to get one.

Can any of the geeks/geekets reccomend a *virtual* hard drive for me to dump all the mp3's on and then download them from there onto the new pc? I have done a google search, but all of them require a credit card.,,,,,, even for a trial version.

OR any other practical suggestions??

  Nirvana - ten years on
Posted by: StevenP - 29-03-2004, 08:55 AM - Forum: Your Music - Replies (4)

Kurt Cobain died ten years ago, to commemorate this, The world's biggest Nirvana show (They don't like being called a tribute band) - Teen Spirit - are on a world tour.

Furthermore, Teen Spirit are playing in Manchester at the Academy on April 30

Even better is that my band, Delaney, is the main support for this show. Tickets are £9.50 through ticketline, but if you're interested in seeing a show that is true to the original Nirvana, I have tickets available for £6 each.

PM me if you want some.
