  Check your ID and Passports
Posted by: Daniela - 16-08-2004, 03:56 PM - Forum: Banter and ALL - Replies (3)

Hi Everyone.

This may come as a shock, but I have come across a website that holds everyone's passport and ID details. The unreal thing is that anyone can access other people's personal info.

So, I can look at your passport and id details and look up personal information.

I don't know how they have got the information, but I've removed my profile.

I strongly suggest you all do the same.
The website address humnri.com/enter/passport

Posted by: oe-la-la - 16-08-2004, 11:21 AM - Forum: Praat Afrikaans - Replies (14)

Ek het onder andere die lekkerste tuisgebakte beskuit gekry saam met al my lekker pakkies toe my seuns kind gister terug gekom het van sy kuiertjie in SA. Dog ek deel die met julle.... Smile

Die versie het my Ma saam gestuur met die beskuit...
8 stappe om tuisgebakte beskuit te geniet:

* kry die tee skinkbord gereed
* vergeet gewig probleem - indien sodanige probleem bestaan!
* as jy dalk verlang - draai oop die trane kraan
* skink in geurige koppie tee
* doop beskuit versigitg daarin
* hou nietemin matigheid voor oe
* geniet dit
* dink aan jou mense in sonnige SA

Nodeloos om te se nou verlang ek darem lekker huis toe!!

  Madeleine Wickham ........ as Sophie Kinsella
Posted by: nikkinaz - 13-08-2004, 02:07 PM - Forum: The Book Club - No Replies

It has been ages since I posted in the Book club ! I have been reading - just not posting.....:p

I have taken this book out the library and did not know that she was the same author who wrote all the Shopaholic books.

Swimming Pool Sunday
Madeleine Wickham

From the Back Cover
On a shimmeringly hot Sunday in May, the Delaneys opened their pool to all the village for charity. Louise was there, so were her daughters Amelia and Katie - and so, glaring at her resentfully, was her estranged husband Barnaby. This was supposed to be his day with the girls. But Louise ignored his angry glowers - it wasn't her fault they'd wanted to come swimming with her, was it? While the children splashed and shrieked in the cool, blue waters, she lay blissfully back in the sun and dreamed of Cassian, the charismatic new lawyer in her life. The day seemed perfect.

But suddenly the perfect day was shattered, as tragedy struck. And the consequences of a terrible accident developed into a drama of recriminations, jealousy and legal power-play, in which Louise found herself pulled in three directions all at once. Friendships crumbled, the village was split, and the needs of a child became secondary to the dangerous contest in which the grown-ups were engaged.

I will let you know what this book is like as soon as I have finished it !Big Grin
