She is actually well known as an actress and singer having the hit "we'll sing in the sunshine back in in the 60's. She is still very current as an actress with a role in My Big Fat Greek Wedding. I guess you live and learn. Both tracks you mention are available on her album "My kind of folk songs"

She has had roles in TV and movies including The Rat Patrol, Bonanza, 77 Sunset Strip, The Equalizer, Friday the 13th series, Kung Fu the legend continues....
